What kind of personal information WonderBars collects

WonderBars collects and uses information provided to us by you. When you make a booking enquiry we collect your name, email address, telephone number, booking enquiry details and any other information you provided to us at the time of making an enquiry. You may contact us via other channels such as email or social media and we collect information from you there also. We may also request that you may provide us with a review of a venue.

You might participate in referral programs, competitions or sweepstakes that require you to provide personal information to us.

If you make a booking enquiry on someone else’s behalf and you provide personal information about that person to us it is your responsibility to ensure the person you have provided personal information about has consented to you doing so and that person accepts how WonderBars uses their information as set out in the Privacy Statement.

Automatically collected personal information

When you visit our website we automatically collect certain information. This can include your IP address, date & time you accessed our services, the hardware, software or internet browser you use and information about your computer’s operating system. We may collect information about clicks and the pages which have been shown to you.

Other sources

If you use affiliate partners & other independent third parties that have integrated with our services. When you use their service you provide your personal details to them and they will then forward your booking enquiry to us.

Our venue partners are allowed to share information about you with WonderBars if for example there was a question in relation to an enquiry that was made.

We use your personal data to administer booking enquiries to our venue partners. We may also offer you other related products and services from third parties and we will use your personal data to administer your enquiry for these services also.

Using your contact information to send you newsletters of related services and offers. You will always have the option to unsubscribe easily and at anytime by clicking the Unsubscribe button provided for you.

When you participate in other promotional activities such as competitions or sweepstakes your information will be used to administer these marketing activities.

Other Communications

We may send you email alerts and notifications in relation to booking enquiries you have submitted. We may send you other administrative messages which can include security alerts.

We may use personal information & data for the detection and prevention of fraud and other illegal or unwanted activities. We may use personal information & data for risk assessment purposes including the authentication of users and booking enquiries.

We use personal information & data for analytical uses. We do this to optimise the sites performance and improve overall user experience.

We may contact you to provide us with a review about a particular venue to help us to inform other site users about your experience in a particular venue.

We may need to use your information to handle and resolve legal disputes, for regulatory investigations and or compliance purposes.

Venue Booking Enquiry

In order to provide our service we transfer relevant booking enquiry details to the venue you are making an enquiry to. Including your name, contact details & any other relevant details.

Third Party Processing

We may use third party service providers to process your personal data on our behalf. This process can be for several purposes including for example issuing out marketing campaigns. Third party service providers are bound by confidentiality clauses and are prohibited from using your data for other purposes.

Authorities

We disclose personal data to An Garda Síochána if required to do so by Irish law or is strictly necessary for the prevention, detection or prosecution of criminal acts and fraud. We may need to further disclose personal information data to authorities to protect and defend our rights or properties or the rights or properties of our business partners.

Our website has been optimised for mobile and tablet use and browsing. We process personal information and data in the same way as a regular desktop version of the website.

WonderBars uses social media in different ways to help facilitate, market and promote our services and website. We use various social media plugins that are integrated on the website. WonderBars has the right to charge €6.35 for this service and we will reply to your request within 40 calendar days of receiving the request. All such requests will be handled in accordance with Irish law.
